Privacy
Last updated 31 October 2026. Double Tops Darts runs online darts leagues and competitions at doubletopsdarts.com.
What we keep
Your name, your email, your PIN (scrambled, so nobody can read it), the leagues you are in, your results and the stats from your matches, screenshots you send in as proof of a result, and the match times you arrange with other players. If you sign in with Google or Facebook we get your name and email from them, nothing else.
DartCounter
If you link your DartCounter account, you sign in to DartCounter once through our page. We never keep your DartCounter password. We keep the pass DartCounter gives back, so we can read your matches and your average over your last 30 games. Unlink any time from your Me page and the pass is deleted.
Payments
Paid entries go through Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, never to us. We only keep whether you have paid.
What other players see
Your name, your results, your stats and your place in the table, for the leagues you are in. Your email is never shown to other players.
What we use it for
Running your leagues: tables, fixtures, results, updates about your league, and signing you in. We never sell your details or pass them to anyone else for their marketing. If you accept cookies, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) is told when you visit, make an account, enter a competition or pay, so we can see which adverts work; see Cookies below.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in, and one remembers your cookie choice. Those two are needed for the site to work.
We count visits ourselves, without cookies and without storing anything on your device: which page was opened, the site it came from, the country and whether it was a phone or a computer. To tell visitors apart we scramble the connection details with a code that is thrown away at the end of each day, so a visit cannot be traced back to you or followed from one day to the next.
If you press Accept on the cookie banner, we also use the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta when you visit a page, make an account, ask to join or start a league, enter a competition, start a payment or pay, so we can see which of our adverts bring players in and show them to people like you. When you are signed in, your email is scrambled (hashed) on your device before it is sent, so Meta can match the visit to your Facebook account without us handing over the address itself. Meta's own use of it is covered by Meta's privacy policy. Press No thanks and none of this happens. Change your mind any time with Cookie settings at the foot of every page.
Social media advertising
At sign up there is an optional box, unticked, asking whether we may use your email to show you Double Tops on Facebook and Instagram. If you tick it, once enough players have, we may give Meta a list of those emails, scrambled (hashed) before it leaves us, so Meta can show our adverts to those players and to people like them. Meta cannot read the addresses back. Untick it on your Me page any time and your email is left out of the next list. Separately, Meta lets us show adverts to people who have engaged with our Facebook Page or watched our videos on Facebook; that happens inside Meta under Meta's privacy policy, and nothing about you leaves this site for it.
When email is switched on we send you what you asked for on your updates page: match requests, your league news at the pace you chose, and a receipt when you pay. Every email has a link to stop them. We never send marketing email.
Keeping and deleting
We keep your account while you play. Ask us to delete it and we remove your account and details; results already on a finished table stay, under your name, so other players' tables still add up.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Message us on our Facebook page, facebook.com/doubletopsdarts, and we will sort it.
